Die Chilisaison 2026 fing natürlich schon im Jahr 2025 an, wie jede Saison im alten Jahr. Traditionell machten wieder Rocotos und Wildsorten den Start. Bevor ich am 27.11. zu einem Adventstrip nach New York City aufgebrochen bin, hab ich die Rocotos und die Wildsorten am 24.11. in zitronensaurem Kamillentee eingeweicht und 2 Tage später ausgesät

Am Donnerstag, den 18.12. hab ich dann die Baccatums ausgesät: 2x Sugar Rush Pach Stripey, 2x Zebrange, 2x Peppapeach Stripey und 2x Lemon drop

Am 29.12. Capsicum chinense und frutescens ausgesät. Die ersten Baccatums sind gekeimt (1 Sugar Rush Peach Stripey und 1 Zebrange)
8 Keimlinge umgesetzt. 2x Rocoto P360, 2x Rocoto Big Brown, 1 Rocoto Puno Pica orange, 2x Rocoto Aji Largo und 1 Rocoto Olive Mini.
Im Gegensatz zu den meisten anderen Jahren stand die genaue Chiliaussaatliste erst zu Beginn des Nächsten Jahres fest.
